PRESCRIPTION
DRUG ON-LINE REGISTRY SIGNED INTO NJ LAW New Jerseyans shortly will be able
to comparison shop for their
prescription drugs through an online
website, slated to be up by fall, 2007.
The site will list pharmacy-by-pharmacy
prices for the 150 most frequently
prescribed drugs, and consumers will be
able to search by zip code. Cost for
creating and implementing the website is
estimated at $322,000 and will cost
about $72,000 per year to run.
